Breakdown

Yup, today I had an emotional breakdown. Work was insane yesterday. I manually keyed in and printed 140 exclusive certificates! On top of that, I completed the newsletter for the week. Was all harried and my boss could still walk up to my desk and asked me to work on this, follow up on that. HELLO YOU GET ME AN INTERN TO DO THIS LA.

While typing this entry, the sneaky Update Computer' notice popped up and I whacked 'Enter' before I realised it! So bloody laptop froze and rebooted. And it took forever doing that.

Anyway, back to ranting, my boss thinks everymuthafukingthing can happen instantaneously - no need time to type docs, to send emails, to print things, to think. He came from the era where he didn't need to write his own letters. His secretary transcribed for him! WTF. Generation gap can.

Oh yes, and he wants me to publicise to the housing estates so I'm gonna go to the flats near my place to stuff flyers under each door. Kthxbye.

With all that stress (and nonsense), I reached my breaking point. Thank you Wuby for trying to comfort me and to D for trying to teach Wuby how to comfort me. T_T Touched so shall cry again.

I really felt very suffocated... but after venting it out... it seems most of my anguish has dissipated and I can fight again so moral of the story is: it is good to cry so let me punch you in your face! HAHA. K I'm crazy.

-awkward silence-

Ah.. photos this week:

すみません I Overslept Bento

Catfish Bento. Leftovers from Sunday's dinner. The catfish sting me.

W and his new craze - UFO Catcher

Woohoo~ This Hello Kitty costs S$2!

D remembered seeing a Wreck it Ralph game and so we went to look for it.

They were very excited. Going "YES!" and punching the air at the same time. Still give me judgey face when I wanted the Hello Kitty. Pff.

MUST BUY NEXT MONTH. THE END.

Hokkaido Ramen with colleagues! Here with M.

And then I sinned. Wanted a Cecil McBee ふくぶくろ but they were all sold out! So I consoled myself with an e-Mook. I am a bit disappointed by the size of the tote bag but still - Cecil McBee!

Dies.

New Uniqlo poncho and new picture app.

Old face and new ぷりくら app.

Sorry, my face is the last visual of this entry. Goodnighty!

Why O-pun Sesami?

I decided to start blogging again when I felt that I'm losing myself to the mundane and stressful routine of a 9 to 6 job. Seeing that I was feeling so worn out and low even though I'm only in my early twenties struck me hard. I'm still young! My life shouldn't be this way! I should see more, experience more and actually pay more attention to the good things around me.

So with that in mind, I'm hoping to capture the little things in life that makes me happy.

And why O-pun Sesami? D suggested 'open sesame' because it was one of the punny jokes I made but 'open sesame' has been taken! So 'o-pun sesami' because I'm learning japanese now and I was yelling at a japanese sesame mill. That's that.

What went down this week?
My funny face omu rice bento.
I am planning to pack my own bento everyday for lunch because I'm sick of the food around my office and it's healthier this way.

Dinner at Yayoiken with D!

Good curry rice.

D with his 味噌鯖 (Miso Saba).

Shopping at Uniqlo ^.^
I've been shopping a lot this week. It is a form of therapy. So while shopping (again) with D, I looked at him sheepishly and tried to explain myself... D said he understands. T_T

I feel alive and more of myself again when I'm shopping for clothes and all. Does that make sense?
Well... dressing up is self-expression and I desperately need that! *shakes fist at job*

Trifles at Boss' house. Yes, we were invited to his house. Gulps.

Me spraying whipped cream on them trifles. Think I destroyed them.

And woohoo ~ I can tie my hair up! It has been almost 2 years since that was possible. Hmm my complexion looks really good here. Thanks to an amazing app I discovered. (^O^)

Kay. That's the end of my first (bimbo) blog entry in 2013.
